Playoff Peek: Round 2, Vol. 3— An improbable comeback leads to a potential closeout
I had planned to write a pretty extensive breakdown of Wednesday night’s phenomenal Game 5 between the Bucks and Celtics — truly I did.
Instead, I’m typing out what will amount to this extremely abbreviated update just a couple of hours prior to Game 6.
No, I definitely wasn’t hit by a car, nor have a suffered some other calamitous bodily injury via a tragic accident.
I am, however, quite possibly on the brink of death thanks to far more nefarious means.
Folks, allergies are whooping my ass.
To be honest, this intro has taken just about all of the present brain power I can muster up.
(Yes, it’s pretty pathetic.)
It typically takes me a couple of days (and many assorted pills) to move beyond a sudden onslaught like this, which I’m hoping will leave me feeling far more like myself to give a proper deep dive into events following Game 6 — regardless of the outcome.
But in the interim, I still wanted to at least post something as I’d committed to doing on our last visit.
I’ll leave you now with a couple of tidbits I’ve earmarked in the aftermath of Milwaukee’s exhilarating Game 5 comeback win. Some are illustrative of both the rarity, and impressive spectacle of Wednesday night’s performance, while another identifies a key adjustment made by the Bucks that could prove key as the team looks to close out this bloodbath of a series.
